This page describes what Orvienm actually processes today, taken from the running implementation rather than from a template. Two surfaces are covered and they behave differently: the public site at orvienm.ai, and Orvienm Studio, the invitation-only Private Alpha at studio.orvienm.ai.
Orvienm is early-stage software. Where a practice is not yet settled, this page says so rather than implying a guarantee.
01The public site
orvienm.ai is a static institutional site hosted on Vercel. Visiting it produces standard web server request logs held by that host, which typically include IP address, user agent, requested path and timestamp.
The public site sets no cookies at all, runs no analytics, embeds no advertising or tracking scripts, and does not build visitor profiles. There is no sign-up and no contact form: nothing on the public site asks you for personal data.
02Language settings
When you choose a language, the public site stores that choice in your browser's local storage for up to 180 days. To offer another published language, the site may read your browser's language preferences locally. If you dismiss a language suggestion, that dismissal is stored in local storage for up to 30 days. Browser language preferences are not stored, and local storage values are not sent automatically with web requests. They can be removed in your browser settings. The public site does not set cookies.
03Orvienm Studio
Studio is a separate application on its own host, reachable only by invitation. Signing in is through GitHub. Studio requests the
read:userscope only — it does not request access to your repositories.When you sign in, Studio holds:
- your GitHub numeric account id, which is the key that identifies you;
- your GitHub login name, kept as display text only and never used to decide access;
- essential cookies, and no others: a short-lived pair set when the sign-in flow starts, plus a signed session cookie afterwards. All are scoped to studio.orvienm.ai alone, and the session expires after seven days.
The session carries no workspace path and no access decision. Access is re-checked on the server on every request.
04Admission to the Private Alpha
Admission is a short server-side list, maintained by hand, that maps a GitHub numeric id to an internal identifier and one workspace. Signing in does not add you to it. An account that is not on the list can authenticate and still reach no workspace.
05Workspace content
Files you create in Studio are stored on a persistent encrypted volume operated by Fly.io, currently in the São Paulo region. Studio also records a history of structural runs so a change can be read back afterwards.
Treat the Alpha as you would any pre-release system: do not put sensitive personal data or production secrets into a workspace.
06Logs
The application host produces runtime and request logs used to operate and debug the service. These can contain identifiers such as a GitHub numeric id when a request fails. Logs are not used for analytics or profiling.
07Orvienm Ask
Ask is not enabled in the hosted Alpha. No workspace content is sent to any model provider, and no provider credential is configured in the hosted environment.
08Who else processes this data
- GitHub — identity provider for sign-in.
- Fly.io — hosting and persistent storage for Studio.
- Vercel — hosting for the public site.
09What Orvienm does not do
Orvienm does not sell or rent your data, does not use it for advertising, does not profile you, and sets no advertising or analytics cookies on either surface. There is no automated decision-making.
10Retention and deletion
Retention periods are not yet set. Workspace content persists for as long as the Alpha environment exists, and there is no self-service deletion in the product today.
To have your workspace content or admission entry removed, contact contact@orvienm.ai and it will be handled manually. This page will be updated when a defined retention policy exists.
11Your rights and how to exercise them
Depending on where you live you may have rights of access, correction, deletion or portability over your personal data. To make a request, or to ask what is held about you, email contact@orvienm.ai. Requests during the Alpha are handled manually by a small team.
12Changes to this page
This page changes as the product does. The date at the top is the last time the text changed. Material changes affecting Alpha participants will be communicated directly.
